These couple months pictures are out of order, but you get the gist of the summer months.
Brent took a trip to the coast just he and the boys. I had some training to attend and it was the perfect little break for them.
For the Fourth of July we climbed up on our roof and watched the fireworks that they light here in town. We lit a few of our own, but it was fun to just hang out on our roof a little.
For Mitchel's birthday we went to his favorite local sushi place.
We went to a splash pad in Redmond so August could cool off.
We went on a ton of small local camping trips this summer. Exploring places we had never been, and letting Emmett get some camping experience under his belt.
We signed up for a bubble run. Mitchel wasn't able to attend at the last minute so Elysia was able to take his place.
Went on our annual family trip. This year we were on Lake Shasta during the eclipse.
For the second time ever, August attended church camp. On our way there we got there a little early. To kill time we went to a local river and let the kids play.
As is tradition, before we say goodbye at camp we go play some games in the barn.
For Papa George's birthday Brent wanted to make sure he was able to attend the Pig and Ford races. So we made the trek out to Tillamook and attended the races and the demolition derby.
Elysia came with and held Emmett for a large portion of it.
Had a nice froyo date with Kaitlynn! (and the boys)
Took a drive over to the Deschutes to eat at the Oasis and play by the river.
Took my boys out to Red Robin to eat.
More backyard-firepit-summer days.
Emmett loves GRACE. She is not as big of a fan of Emmett. That does not deter him from snuggling her any chance he can.
Here are some of the fireworks we saw from our roof.
My favorite workout. Carrying around this sleepy guy.
My guys...
Some girl time! (with the boys in tow)
More henna designs...
August was out at sushi too. Here is the proof.
Redmond splash pad fun.
Mitch turned 17 and we did not have the candles we needed, but we had candles that when added together made 17. So that's what we did. He will someday appreciate how clever we are.
More puff pancake days...
More cousin visits
Grandma Annette likes to put Oreos in the freezer and they become a nice summer treat.
Emmett turned into Boss Baby for awhile.
