The months of April through June became kind of a blur as I took on a small practicum in a fourth grade elementary class.
The pictures from these months are kind of jumbled around...but since this is really for the mere purpose of somewhat catching up/documenting these things...it really doesn't matter.
Mitchel joined a mens soccer league. He played on a team through the tail end of spring and all through summer. They had games every Saturday.
In May, Brent turned 35...
We celebrated by serving his favorite. Angel food cake with strawberries.
Our cousins came out to visit us...
Emmett spent his days exploring and playing while I did homework.
Brayden needed a new life jacket, he had exceeded the weight limit on his old one. So we went to Andy and Bax and bought him his very own adult life jacket.
We then headed up to Washington and spent the weekend with our good friends.
August got to sleep in a tent in their spare room.
Randomly, here is a picture of the kids with their cousins. We were celebrating at Buffalo Wild Wings for Brayden's and Brent's birthdays.
Can't go to Portland without going to visit Annette!
While in Washington visiting our friends, we drove to a nearby town to a small donut hut. That was what Bray wanted for his birthday breakfast.
August had a Magic Schoolbus storyline.
He was a scientist.
Emmett's favorite thing ever was rasberries. He would freak out whenever he saw them at the store. He probably ate way too many this year...
In April we celebrated my mother's birthday. She was 59 years old.
This is what August chose when asked what face paint he wanted. He was very specific about what it should look like too.
Getting some temporary tattoos on.
Back in Washington we enjoyed some summer weather...sprinklers and Popsicles.
While Rhiannon got the fire pit ready so that we could make smores, Emmett sat contently on Mitchel's lap. After being carried around by Brayden for almost and hour. These boys their baby brother.
Another visit out to see Annette.
Brent did several obsticle course style runs this year. He actually talked my sister and nephew into doing one out in Sherwood.

They had a blast.
While Emmett, August, Brayden and I lounged.
Emmett is good at lounging.
These three were able to move up to the yellow belt.
Emmett started getting huge. Like overnight. I just woke up and he was a giant.
In Portland hanging out with my sister and cousins.
I cut my hair too. |
While there, we had a surprise call from my brother who was away in the Airforce.
We celebrated Abrams birthday and had a mini bbq.
The reason we were in Portland was for Brent and Mitchel to attend another mud run/obstacle course. They again had a blast. I love that the host posted a lot of great pictures from throughout the course.
The boys volunteer in the morning and do the run in the afternoon, so they get to do it for free.
Running through mud...
Jumping on trampolines...
Swimming/crawling through mud under barbwire...
My child and husband jumping over actual fire...
Little milk soak...
Fun and games with my boys...
In June we went out to Portland to celebrate Father's Day. We hung out at Carleen's and played games. Then just my dad and sisters went out to an amazing dinner.
Back at home, Emmett wanting to be outside.
Anytime Mitchel gets a haircut I need to take notice. It happens so rarely.
What most of our summer looks like...
When Elysia was visiting she lost a tooth. So the tooth fairy had to come. She had glitter all over her face and pillow and underneath she had got a two dollar bill.
To wrap up June and move into July, Carleen and I did some henna art.
