Brent and I took August to summer camp. It is his last year where he only gets to spend a few days...next year it will be a whole entire week.
We like to get to camp a little early and play around the grounds. In this instance we were there a lot early so we stopped by the road on the way there and played in the river.
Again the pictures are all jumbled up...but they include when Brent and I were packing up at the car and then at the river playing. We dropped August off and played some games. We waited while he was called for his group and met his counselor. Then we gave him his $ and love and took off.
Brent had to work when it was time to get him, but Jen came with me to pick August up. It was a big help with Emmett. Getting August and all of his camp stuff can be a challenge.
This is once we picked up August and were walking to go to the snack shack for our annual snocone. |

I love how excited he is to go to camp and explore his relationship with Christ. He is such a thoughtful and loving young man, and it swells me up to see him so passionate and touched. Can't wait for him to get to spend a whole week away.
