We went to REI in Bend, Mitch's game, and hiking at Smith Rock.
It was beautiful there as usual...
Nice and overcast, but still warm.
As we started hiking I realized that my throat was killing me.
I was also getting really warm.
I was thinking it was just being out of shape and hiking up this insane INCLINE.
Later I found out I had the flu and was actually getting a full on FEVER. Hahaha.
We almost made it to the top. Brent and I took our leave from the trail on this little stoop while they continued on.
It was great. WE snuggled on the rock and enjoyed to peace.
Plus I got some good pictures of this handsome fella.
On the way home from Bend we stopped by and got Brent's new motorcycle.
The boys were all sooo excited to go for rides.
Brent was excited to take them.
We also played Duck, Duck, Goose with Papa's birds.
August just LOVES the goose.
August's burn is looking better and better.
