Disneyland ~ Day TWO California Adventure Park

We bought the one park per day passes this time, so that we could really focus on one park at a time. This was nice, except towards the end of the trip. August and I loved Disneyland the best, but Brent and Bray love California Adventure more...
Still, the second day we went to California Adventure. The first thing we did was go to the river ride! Which is my FAVORITE ride. Unfortunately it was in the high 80's the week BEFORE we got there. Now it was overcast and barely 70 degrees. Perfect for theme park-ing, but not so good for getting soaked on a ride! Oh well, it was AMAZING.

Again, there was no one in line so they let us stay on. We rode this thing almost 8 times in a row I swear. It was so fun...but, then we needed hot cocoa and to dry off a bit.
The big boys decided the best way to dry off was to ride the roller coaster. Sitting there on the dock it was like no time had gone by at all since the last time we were there.

As we were on the gondolla swings we realized that NO one actually wanted to be on them...
We all dislike heights. Haha...my roller coaster kids don't like heights.

We watched the little army men perform. They were phenomenal. Their act was very funny too!

Since we decided to stay late to watch World of Color, we took a lunch break at the hotel. While there we played the game Quelfs. It is hilarious. The boys played it at church camp and bought it on the way home. We had a lot of fun. Then swam, then went back to the park.

We arrived back at the park in time to catch one of the parades.

As it started to get dark we went to get our "spot" for the World of Color. Tons of people were already gathered. Brent left me with the boys and went to buy us some cotton candy and a light up bubble gun.

My video is too long and not the super best quality. This is the World of Color someone else posted to Youtube.
