It's that time of year again for another sport to start for the boys.
We end the summer with the beginning of Soccer.
Bray and August have their practices on different days than Mitchel...of course.
I assumed as they get older these sports were just going to get more and more complicated to keep up with.
Lucky for me, practice is at a gorgeous location.
And since August's practice starts a half an hour after Bray we get to play around at the playground.
August did so much running before practice, it is hard to believe he had energy for the rest of it.
Aug's coaches are these sweet teenage girls. It is cute watching them get the kids coordinated.
The thunderstorms hit, just after August's practice started one day...
I sent a video to Brent to let him see.
It was cute watching the kids start running around like crazy as soon as the rain started pouring down.
But, the lightening scared the coaches.
I love that the kids do sports.
There are a lot of positive things about being on sports teams:
1. Learn to work as a team
2. Learn responsibility
3. Learning a skill
4. Being involved in something that demands you to challenge yourself
Some things that are hard to deal with are:
1. Sports parents (obsessive, yelling, crazy individuals)
2. Costs (equipment, fees, refreshments)
3. Time commitment. With 3 kids there are over 6 practices and 3 games a week. UGH
Let the games begin!
