Christmas at Jen's house

My family got together Christmas day.
After our mornings with our immediate families we gathered at Jen's house.
We met around noon and were greeted with amazing smells.
My dad made prime rib.
I was excited to have something other than turkey!
There was also a bunch of snacky appetizer food, since we planned on a day of hanging out.
My Dad also purchased a variety of cheese cake, Boston cream pie, pumpkin pie, and cherry pie.
The prime rib was done about 1:30 so we made the kids plates and then our own.
We all gathered around with our plates, my dad blessed the food and we enjoyed.
After eating the kids broke away to go play together.
The adults visited and played some games.
We opened our presents and played some more games.
It was a great day.

Elysia and Breanna made bracelets for everyone...
Eric was tired from staying up late wrapping presents. Carleen had fun taking pictures with her sleeping husband!
Mitch sporting his new Zelda gear!
Breanna working hard to help Elysia make the bracelets.
I tried to take a photo of us, but my lens was zoomed in! We had our usual fun taking photos of ourselves...

Jen kept teasing that my arm was too short to get everyone in the shot. I think I did alright?!

We started playing the heads up game, that we were introduced to on Thaknsgiving.
I brought my pajamas to Jen's because I knew we would be there all day. I changed into my PJs quickly after eating...
I wore my new polka dotted house robe that my guys got me!

Abram looking so grown up these days...So big

 My beautiful big sister JEN!
And these are the pics of them trying to act out clues. I videotaped and took photos...

I don't even have to mention that my Dad is SUPER competitive. Needless to say he REALLY gets into these games!
This is the picture/note that Elysia wrote to "PUDGE" Breanna's new hedgehog.
August actually did a really good job playing with his cousins and coloring, so that I could play some games. Brent was downstairs with the boys, because these types of games are NOT his favorite.

Tyler got a snake too! But I do not like snakes, so he is not pictured here.
We had a lot of fun. I feel bad we all kind of fizzled out early. It's hard not too on Christmas night, because we all get woken up so early by the kids.
I know this year Mitchel was more awake than August...
Crazy!
