The Bennett side of life...

Family is a SUPER huge part of our lives. We are a pretty close bunch over here on the Bennett side. As we all have gotten older the adventures we go on have expanded. We are fine tuning the art of syncing schedules and agreeing on things, but as time goes by we are having more rich and fulfilling times with one another.
It is AWESOME to have our children so close to their aunts, uncles, and cousins. Having a strong extended family is comforting. At times my sisters and I may be a little too involved in each others business, but sometimes its hard to act like "adult" siblings. We are learning to respect each other as parents even if we do not see eye to eye on all points...
It doesn't hurt that I have the best siblings in the world. My brothers live in California, so we do not see each other as much as I would like. Still, there is something about a sibling and the relationship you have that is hard to explain. No matter the distance or time it always feels like it was just a moment ago you were together. The intimate knowledge of you that they hold presents itself in conversation and actions. They just get you. Bonded together in family you learn it is just automatic to celebrate each others triumphs, and experience each others pain. You are the sounding board to each other, in addition to a counselor. I know you guys are the first I call when I've had a bad day and if I need to laugh with someone. Or if a certain song comes on the radio that I know you would appreciate! Family is just entrenched in us, and I love that.
