The Prineville Follies

One of the things that Mitchel has done in 2017 and now again this year was to participate in the Prineville Follies performance. They are a local booster club for music and arts. They support the choir, drama, band, and any kind of performing arts. His band Twenty Dollar Tux did a great job. I'm always so proud and taken back when I watch him in his element.

It is a ton of local talent that audition and perform in these shows. They raise money to give kids in performing arts scholarships. There are elderly performers all the way to tiny kids. We really enjoy the shows. It's such a positive experience for the young artist too.
There is a lot of singing and music, but there is also comedy, skits, and some times livestock performances.

The first year the theme was something like Rednecks and Duct tape. I can't find the actual video of their performance at the show (I know I have it somewhere), but I have their audition recorded....

The next year Mitchel couldn't do it because he was in Washington DC with his health department job, doing a training.

This year the theme was Under the Bigtop.
