Mom Hair 2017

So...in January 2017, right before I started Graduate School I decided to go BLONDE (blond?). I figured this was worth documenting...It was fun. I have always liked doing the dramatic crazy things with my hair. As I've gotten older I just haven't had the opportunity to "play" around with color as much. Plus I THOUGHT that the blonde would be a nice transition into the grey. I have been trying to let the grey just grow out, but it isn't happening fast enough. I  do have a ton of grey coming in though...so here are some of the fun transitional pictures of the hair. 

I had to do a few rounds of stripping and bleaching to get it a nice light color.

 

Emmett thought it was a new toy. He quickly got over it though...

 

 

 Well after a couple months my hair was growing in...but it was not all grey. In fact it was a light brown with some dark brown...So I decided to transition to a nice auburn hair color...

Then, after a couple months of being a red head I decided to go back to my roots. (hair pun) So, back to dark brown I went. I knew it would fade fast...and it did. Still it was fun to play with my hair a bit and try on some different looks.

Sheesh...that feel like a lot of pictures of me! Still thought I wanted to document that process for fun. It will be cool to look back on in a few years when I am actually totally grey.
