With Halloween quickly approaching I started the boys thinking about what they would like to be this Halloween.
Mitch (having a hard time being 14, yet still wanting to go around for candy) was a little indecisive.
Brayden wanted be an assassin. (Whatever that looks like)
August wanted to be everything in the whole world...
I swear this kid takes forever to make up his mind. (but that is okay, I love how creative you are Aug)
Halloween ended up (unfortunately) right next to my mid terms,
so I was less patient than usual with their elaborate ideas.
I really just wanted them to use what we had here...
I tried to shell out ideas, I really thought it would be easy to be Box trolls...but they were NOT going for it.
My mom took them out and Mitch was looking for a bow tie and suspenders so he could be Dr. Who.
Brayden was covered. With all of the Ninja and black clothing we already had.
August has a plethora of dress up clothes and he decided he wanted to be a monkey...again!
Mitch was unable to find a bow tie.
Instead he found a trench coat and decided to be Neo from the Matrix.
It worked out perfect.
They even had Friday off of school, so we headed to Portland on Thursday. My Dad drove up from California which was an added bonus. Brent had to work, he chooses Halloween over any of the other holidays, to miss out on. We missed him terribly. Especially when it came to chasing those rascalls around. We headed over to Carleen's house on Friday morning. We were going to drive to the coast to do a hike, but decided that we would not have time for that.
Instead we went to eat at a cool little place in McMinnville.
After BRUNCH we headed back to Carleens and played some football.
Carleen and I wanted to dress up, but we were pretty lazy about it. We ended up doing face painting in the spirit of Dia de los muertos. We had no actual face paint so we used her actual makeup. This is impressive because she tends to buy expensive stuff. (bare minerals)
The pictures are all jumbled, but it was a jumbled day all-in-all.

We ended the night by catching a ride with Jen back to her house. We had tons of candy, and got a good work out going up all those hills and all those stairs.
Yeah for another successful Halloween.
