Wildlife Safari

Awhile ago Jennifer introduced Brent to Groupon...
Something I purposefully never did. The man is a shopping addict.
And lets face it Groupon does have some pretty good deals.

Well, needless to say Brent went crazy finding "deals" to occupy the boys. He bought bowling, laser tag, movies, and other random things.

One of those things that he also purchased was tickets for Wildlife Safari.

When I told my sister about this she was excited and asked when were planning on going because she had never been. So we made a family affair out of it and decided to make a weekend out of it.

Jen found some great deals on the rooms and we headed down to Winston.

Per usual Brent had worked pretty late the night before and was slightly tired. Still, my tummy was too big to really fit comfortably behind the wheel (thank you short legs) so he was the one driving. Poor thing.

We left early in the AM to get there by the time the park opened on Saturday.
We timed it to meet at the hotel and check in, and then proceed south to Winston...
We ended up being about fifteen to twenty minutes later than Jen, but we met at the hotel Mitch hopped in the car with them and we headed down.

We took a potty break and decided to drive around the park once in the morning and once right before close. The entry fee is good for two times driving through the park...

At the front gate ready to enter.

Here is Brayden "driving" through the park back in 2007 when we went

Here is August "driving"

Throw back to when we were there when Mitch and Bray were younger!!!

Okay, some of these pictures did not load where they were supposed to...
Oh well.
It was a great trip with family and I was very happy that Brent purchased this Groupon.
