Intro to Spring Break Shenanigans

Finals week was intense this term. I was so happy to be FINISHED.
I escaped with all A's again. It was touch and go for a moment there in my Spanish and bio classes.
By this time of year I get especially burnt out from the withdrawl of holiday busyness. I have only to remember that soon enough Easter will be here and start it all up again.

For Spring break this year we planned a trip out to Idaho for Annette and us to visit Jeremy, Krystel, Joy, Jan and Evan.

To shave some time off of the trip we decided to leave from Portland versus having Brent meet us in Central Oregon with Annette and then head to Idaho.
So, I headed to Portland a few days early...
This ended up working great because Annette's granddaughter Lizzy had an impromptu bridal shower we were able to attend. She is getting married in Spain on May 2nd.

I wish I took more photos, but I got caught up in talking to everyone...a lot!

Being in the Portland area also let the boys  spend extra time with their cousins...

 Elysia had her lemonade stand with a friend. They actually made over $6.
It was cute. Many of the middle school age kids came over and bought some.
August was very impressed. They kept giving him free refills.

So...
that was Saturday and Sunday.
On Monday I dropped Cosmo off at the kennel then cleaned out the car to be ready for our road trip!
Here we go IDAHO!
