Our Papa came up from California to celebrate his birthday. He spent a few days over in the Portland area visiting Jennifer and Carleen, then came over to Central Oregon to visit us for a couple days.
Papa loves to be moving, so we like to have a lot of activities planned to do with Papa. His first day he and I went up to the Ochoco Reservoir. It is really close and nice little place to relax. We walked around and talked which was extremely nice since I was minus all three boys.
Shortly after we returned from the reservoir the boys got off of school and we decided to
challenge Papa to some basketball, a game of Around the World.

To end the the day after basketball the boys and Papa hung out some more outside while I cooked dinner.

We decided to watch Percy Jackson the Lightening Thief and then called it a night.
The next day we went to check out Tumalo falls. It is right outside of Bend and only a 1/4 mile hike to a gorgeous waterfall.

And then my camera's battery died....
We ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant in Bend and
we ended up also going to Benham falls which is just south of Bend. Here are some awesome pictures my dad took...
It was really nice to do some hiking with all my guys.
To end this day we went to the theater and saw Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters.
I can't believe my dad is 60 now. He still looks the same as always.
And it is my favorite season...FALL! Bring on the piles of leaves, frosty mornings, and family centered holidays! I've already pulled out all of my scarecrows and bails of hay. Our front yard has the pumpkin bags of leaves, and the windows have had the harvest and Halloween decals placed strategically by August.
