This past weekend we drove over to Bend to go to the train show. Apparently these guys do this once a year where they open up their hobby to the public. August is still at the age where trains are magical and extraordinary. I was surprised at how much the Mitch and Bray enjoyed it.
It was super fun seeing August light up and ask questions. As always it is in these moments as parents that we can look and remember feeling that way as a child. Somehow in remembering we start to relate to it, and then find ourselves caught up in the childlike enjoyment!

It's always nice to check out these local events. We found out these trains are going to be at a pumpkin patch near Salem.
